I’ve played rock band a few times in my life, filling in on guitar and drum duty, but I’ve never felt the urge to actually partake in the singing aspect…

funny this should come up mere days after I posted this.

it’s migration season and hss is not immune to the ways of the bird — it has left the barren lands of blogger and settled in the warmer climate of wordpress! and it’s definitely not flying back in the spring.

if that made absolutely no sense to you, what I just proudly announced was that I switched my blog publishing system from blogger to wordpress. for us nerds it’s kind of a big deal.

I gotta credit mike for giving me the last nudge to push me over the edge to make the change. tack!

I’m mainly pumped for the two dudes who are slightly out of focus in the back: john cho as sulu and my main man simon pegg as scotty.

so kate was watching the olympic equestrian competition and there was one horse on there named “gandalf.” I was like “what the hell, why did they call the horse GANDALF and not SHADOWFAX??”

kate has never seen lord of the rings.
